6 cups potatoes, diced
4 cups water
1 cup chopped celery
salt & pepper to taste
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
5 teaspoons flour
onion powder

Boil potatoes and celery in water until tender. Add spices. Mix flour with small amount of water and gradually add to soup to thicken while bringing to a boil. Add cheese and simmer until melted.
